Allow me to introduce myself
My name is Kirsten and I grew up on a farm in Bucks County, Pennsylvania and have always had dogs in some capacity, from guardian dogs who protected the home to small lap dogs that were happier in front of the fire than getting their toes wet in the rain. I have progressed through a variety of training styles in the course of my learning and have found that I get the best results when the handler and dog work together as a team through mutual trust. I completed my certification as a Pro Dog Trainer in September 2020 and went on to complete the “Geek” level course in November of the same year. I specialize in games-based, positive reinforcement training to build the skills your dog needs to be happy, calm and make good decisions. I currently own a young Bully/Lab mix named Oberon she adopted from a shelter in Massachusetts right before Covid-19 in 2020, who has really fanned the flames to increase my knowledge and skills as a trainer. We foster dogs regularly from Last Chance Ranch where I work full time as Canine Behavior and Enrichment Manager. When I am not working with dogs I enjoy hiking, traveling in my RV, and cuddling up on the couch with Oberon and a good book.
